This one day cycle challenge offers a different take on the classic coast to coast. This cycle tour takes you from the world famous Gretna Green on the West coast, over the Southern Uplands to Berwick-Upon-Tweed, on the East coast. The ride follows the entire length of the Scottish/English border passing through several historic sites and the fantastic scenery of the Kielder Forest and Northumberland National park on the way!<br />During the day there are a couple of refreshment breaks to keep your energy topped up, and a wholesome lunch put on by Wildlands staff. This is an excellent adventure to undertake if you are looking for a charity challenge that is a little different to most, and unlike many challenge event providers, we make sure that 100% of the money you raise goes to charity, we don't charge the charity anything.<br />You have the option to stay the night in Berwick-Upon-Tweed and enjoy a celebratory diner with your fellow riders (government restrictions permitting)ItineraryMeeting up in Gretna Green for a light breakfast, kit check and briefing, before starting out along the Solway Firth and off in to the heart of the Southern Uplands. The hills start gradually, easing you in to the day, building up to the routes high point above the Keilder Forest. Minimum of two spare inner tubes and a pump.<br />
