Our CMD (Carn Mor Dearg) Arete guided walk will give you one of the best easier scrambling experiences in the Scottish Highlands, with some of the most iconic views of the west coast, let alone the north face of Ben Nevis. We plan to traverse and up on to the summit of the highest peak in the British Isles, Ben Nevis before descending down the tourist track and back the north face car park
Ascend the highest mountain in the UK
โœ“
Have one of our friendly, local, experienced guides by your side
โœ“
Traverse the CMD arete en route to the summit of Ben Nevis
โœ“
Unique views of the North face of 'The Ben'
โœ“
Learn some of the geological and human impact on the mountainItineraryWe plan to meet in the north face car park, check equipment before heading up the track towards the north face of Ben Nevis, as the rocks grow closer we make tracks east up the steep ascent towards Carn Dearg Meadhonach. We start to have a sense of scale of the day with our gain in height towards the munros summit of Carn Mor Dearg, stunning panoramic views in every direction, including the CMD arete which lays to the south. We get kitted up before heading along the exposed but not too technically difficult ridge, one that will be remembered for a long time! The summit of Ben Nevis awaits after the exposure subsides.

Inclusions
What's Included
๐Ÿš† Transportation - On-course transport
๐Ÿงฐ Equipment - Harness & helmet
๐Ÿ“‹ Other - Highly experienced & qualified guide

What you'll need
๐Ÿงค Warm Clothing
โ˜‚๏ธ Waterproofs - Waterproofs, top and bottoms
๐Ÿด Food
๐Ÿฅค Drink
๐Ÿ“‹ Other - > Water bottle or flaskWalking boots with stiff sole Rucksack 30-40ltr
