90 Minute Introduction to Sea Kayaking - Taster Tour<br /><br />Our Introduction tours are a great way for beginners or young families to access the Sea who are concerned with their water confidence and looking for a fun wet session. These tours can be run with a whole family in the same boat, as long as the children are under 8 and only 3 members wish to paddle at one time. Or they are completed in Tandem or 3 seater kayaks.<br /><br />This tour needs a minimum of 4 people to run or £120 for less people. We allow around 20 minutes for our introductory briefing, changing and becoming comfortable and familiar in your chosen boat. 60 minutes for a tour of Babbacombe Bay and 10 minutes to pack down at the end.<br /><br />All of our tours are delivered by expert guides, and these professionals give you all the skills you need to maneuver your craft through the water. Our guides have an in-depth knowledge of all paddle sports. From boat design to the environment it's used in. Feel free to use this time to get everything you need to know about your sport as they are eager to share it with you. They aid and assist you to safely access remote areas you may not have found alone and to turn around in tight spaces. <br /><br />You don’t need to bring any technical clothing or equipment, just your bathers and a wetsuit if you have one in the spring or autumn. But its warm enough in the summer to paddle in shorts and t-shirt. If you have a rash vest or quick dry clothing is perfect. <br /><br />We cater for children from the age of 4, providing they can fit a safety Buoyancy Aid and all under 14's paddle tandem with an adult. 14 year old teenagers can share a kayak together if they wish.<br /><br />These experiences need a minimum of 4 people to operate.<br /><br />Sit-in Sea Kayaks can also be used by request!
