CanoeingA Fantastic kayaking trip exploring the very diverse section of the upper River Ouse. Starting at Barcombe Mills, we will be paddling up river to Isfield Weir (also known as Fish Ladder Falls). You will be surrounded by stunning landscape and enjoy spending time in the great outdoors. The river is lined with trees and fields and you’ll be able to spot local wildlife en route including herons, swans, Canadian geese, dragonflies, damselflies, and maybe the odd sea trout heading up stream to its spawning grounds.<br />NOTE - We’ve changed how we operate due to Covid-19 with your health and safety in mind. If you’ve got any questions on the steps we’ve taken, just drop us a messagef you've not kayaked before, do not worry, we will be teaching you correct techniques, posture, how to turn, brake and paddle backwards, and once all these are mastered we’ll start making our way to the Weir, paddling at a pace that suits you.ItineraryIf you've not kayaked before, we’ll spend some time at Barcombe getting used to manoeuvring the kayak including learning about correct technique, posture and how to turn, brake and paddle backwards. Cancellations by The Client
If The Client cancels their place on The Event within 30 days prior to the first day of The Event, The Event fees will be forfeit to The Hatt Ltd. If The Client cancels their place on The Event outside of 30 days prior to the first day of The Event then 50% of The Event fees will be forfeit to The Hatt Ltd.
Participant Substitutes
We are happy for The Participant to give their place on The Event to a friend (The Substitute). In order to make this change, we must receive written confirmation of The Substitute no later than 7 days prior to the start of the course. The Substitute’s place will not be confirmed until you have received written confirmation from The Hatt Ltd. and The Substitute must conform to the Terms and Conditions of this booking along with any restrictions for The Event.
Cancellations by The Hatt Ltd.
The Hatt Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or alter The Event. If The Event is cancelled (through no fault of The Client) an alternative date will be offered to The Client or a full refund will be given. Please note that refunds are not available to Vouchers. If The Event cannot be pursued due to health and safety or environmental conditions on the day and no alternative can be found, no refund will be given. No liability for consequential loss is accepted by The Hatt Ltd.
