Visit Glastonbury Abbey

Kids go free all year round at Glastonbury Abbey. Each paying adult can bring along 2 children to Glastonbury Abbey completely free of charge.<br /><br />Glastonbury Abbey's 36 acres of grounds offer a calm and relaxing outdoor space right in the centre of Glastonbury. Visitors can spend the day walking, relaxing and visiting the different areas of the grounds including the wildlife area, orchard, medieval kitchen garden as well as the spectacular ruins and the 14th century Abbot's Kitchen. The museum offers insights into the history of the abbey and has a collection of important historical objects on display. Your ticket is valid for the whole day of your visit and you may come and go throughout the day.<br /><br />Please observe all signs and guidance. There are members of staff on hand to assist you with anything you may need. Last entry is 45 minutes prior to closing. Your general admission ticket does not permit entry to special events. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
