We start our kayaking adventure at Cuckmere Haven, an area of true beauty with flower rich chalk grassland and over-wintering wildfowl and colourful wild flowers, making our way along the river Cuckmere inland to Alfriston. As the river meanders along Cuckmere valley and into Litlington we'll pass the giant white chalk horse that dominates the view of the left side of the valley. Once we get to Alfriston there's time for a quick snack before heading back to Cuckmere with the outgoing tide.<br />National Park Experiences is a curated collection that brings the stories of our National Parks to life. Each experience offers an authentic insight into the landscape and special qualities of a National Park.<br /> <br /><strong>Inclusions</strong><br /><strong>What's Included</strong><br />🧰 <strong>Equipment</strong> - We will provide all the kayaking and safety equipment required, except personal clothing.<br /> <br /><strong>What you'll need</strong><br />🧤 <strong>Warm Clothing</strong> - We need to dress according to the weather on the day. Please try and avoid natural fibers like jeans and cotton, as these tend to rub and be cold if wet. Outdoor type clothing, walking trouser, running tops etc are perfect, along with some old trainers. <br />šŸ“ <strong>Food</strong> - A small snack for lunch<br />🄤 <strong>Drink</strong> - A small drink for lunch<br />

Cancellations by ā€˜The Participant’

If The Participant cancels their place on ā€˜The Course’ within 30 days prior to the first day of ā€˜The Course’, ā€˜The Course’ fees will be forfeited to The Kayak Coach Ltd unless ā€˜The Participant’ finds another person to attend ā€˜The Course’ in their place (The Substitute). In order to be booked onto ā€˜The Course’ in place of ā€˜The Participant’, The Substitute must complete and sign a medical form (available to download from our website) and make sure The Kayak Coach Ltd have received this no later than 7 days prior to the commencement of ā€˜The Course’. If the Participant cancels their place on ā€˜The Course’ outside of 30 days prior to the first day of ā€˜The Course’ then 25% of ā€˜The Course’ fees will be forfeited to The Kayak Coach Ltd.
