Paddleboard hire on Windermere with Graythwaite Adventure

Paddleboarding remains the UK's most popular watersport, and at Graythwaite Adventure we offer board hire to help you hone your skills or experience SUP (stand up paddleboarding) for the first time. Ours is a fleet of RED boards, arguably the best available. We're happy to hire boards to first-timers who are water confident, however guests that opt for an instructed lesson for their first outing learn the basics and progress much quicker ... they also tend to spend more time paddling, less time swimming!<br /><ul><li>We require at least one adult in your party to be on the water at all times. </li><li>You can opt for 1 hour, 2 hours or 4 hours hire.</li></ul>We may be biased but genuinely believe that we run watersports from one of the best locations in the Lake District; Grubbins Point on Windermere. From this sheltered bay situated on a private stretch of shoreline we offer both instructed sessions and board hire.What to expect.<ul><li>Upon arrival at Grubbins Point, please make use of our free parking before meeting one of our friendly team at our watersports hub.</li></ul><ul><li>Changing cabins are available for your use. We'll kit you out with buoyancy aids and paddles. </li><li>Then head to the water's edge where the boards will be ready for you. </li><li>We'll run through the basics and answer any questions you have before helping you set off. </li><li>How far you venture depends on your experience and the weather conditions on the day. </li><li>All you need to do is turn up, get paddling and enjoy. </li><li>Wetsuits aren't necessary, although they are recommended in cooler months and if you're a novice.
