Wild Saunas

Braan Sauna at The Taybank offers a rejuvenating wood-fired sauna and plunge pool experience on the picturesque banks of the River Tay. This handcrafted sauna, available all winter, invites guests to unwind in exclusive group sessions or join community sauna sessions held twice a week for local residents. Each session, lasting 1 hour and 20 minutes, accommodates up to 8 people and includes access to a 6ft-wide cold water plunge tank, a changing area, a cold shower, a communal firepit, and outdoor seating with stunning views of the river and Thomas Telford’s iconic Dunkeld Bridge.

Nestled in the heart of Dunkeld, The Taybank also boasts a charming restaurant and bar, offering a seasonal menu crafted from homegrown and locally sourced ingredients. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner in the cosy downstairs bar or the upstairs dining room, which overlooks the river. The riverside beer garden serves woodfired pizzas, snacks, and sides, perfect for a casual outdoor meal. The venue is dog-friendly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Whether you're seeking a serene sauna session or a delightful dining experience, The Taybank provides an inviting escape with its blend of natural beauty, culinary excellence, and warm hospitality.
