CanoeingA fantastic 2hr introduction to canoeing for those who have never been in a canoe before along the Cromford Canal nr Matlock Bath. Suitable for family, friends or Hen Party - its just your group plus the instructor. All under 18s need to be with a parent -lower age limit 5yrs. Its the ideal way to start. A short journey on a calm canal to gain confidence with a few skills taught to keep you straight and in control with your partner. Challenges and games can be set for those that require further challenge along the way. <br />Normally lots of wildlife to spot along the way. A third seat in the canoe is suitable for children 10yr old and below. <br />Dogs under control welcome at your own risk - (not disturbing the wildlife or swimming)<br />Aimed as being a dry session apart from splashing or rain. ItineraryMeet and greet followed by kitting up with buoyancy aids. A full briefing on land of how to get control of the canoe followed by a short practice on the water. Then its off down the canal for our journey. Cancellation policy
Custom cancellation policy:
For a 50% refund your booking can be cancelled 30 days prior to the activity scheduled start date.
cancelling within 30 days of the activity start date will result in loss of all money paid.
Alternate dates may be able to be agreed at no additional cost, but this is not guaranteed or possible in all situations.
Being late, ill / sick, unable to park, booking an inappropriate activity, will result in the activity starting without you or not going ahead at all with the loss of all money paid.
Gift Vouchers are non refundable ever.
Should Peaks and Paddles need to cancel for any reason - full refund or alternative date or activity offered where possible.
