Join us on our popular Pizza nights this winter and discover the planets and stars through the telescopic lens at Barton Farm in Kentisbury. Let Liz from Moor Wild Experiences and The Wright's Family guide you to spot Jupiter, Saturn and Venus (December) or Uranus and Jupiter (January) with our two telescopes and stargazing apps. Learn about the constellations and the Greek stories behind them, before tucking into your own crafted stone-baked pizza in our beautiful 16th Century barn. Complete your evening with warming hot chocolate and extra large gooey toasted marshmallows over our firepit! Enjoy good times with family & friends over a free glass of bubbly! U5s go free!<br /><br />Dietary requirements: It is essential that your dietary needs are disclosed before the event.<br /><br />FAQs: <br />What if its raining / cloudy? - we continue indoors with our astronomical projected experience! You'll also get to handle the telescopes as well as learn about Saturn, Jupiter and the constellations in an interactive way on our large projector screen. This experience has been well received by previous guests. We provide colouring sets and guides for our guests to take home! <br /><br />Can I bring my dog? - Yes, we accept well behaved dogs (though do not accept dogs listed on the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991)<br /><br />I have a pram/wheelchair, is the terrain suitable for this? - yes all our area is hardstanding in the yard and in the barn<br /><br />Do you have a toilet - yes, we have a large disabled access toilet right next to the barn<br /><br />I have certain allergen/food intolerances. Do you cater for this? - Yes, let us know about your dietary requirements BEFORE the event. So we avoid disappointment on arrival. We acquire special pizza dough for certain food intolerances. <br /><br />How do we find you? - Look out for the only orange street light in the village. Our large black gate and yard is right there! Use EX31 4NQ as a guide only, DO NOT FOLLOW THE POSTCODE TO THE END! Liz will be standing with a strong torch at the entrance.<br /><br />Minimum for event to go ahead:  6 guests. We shall contact all parties at least 48 hrs in advance if the minimum number of guests is not met. A full refund or postponed date will be given.<br /><br />Is the ticket transferable?- Unfortunately, not. We can only 'transfer' to another date if the minimum number of people not reached for the event to go ahead.
