The weir is located in the stunning Avon Valley and can only be accessed from Claverton on the A36. Do not attempt to access the weir from Warleigh or Conkwell. The weir is 100m long and provides some deep water stretches as well as shallow paddling areas. There are also some play areas located under the weir near the bank. Please note that there is no parking available so you will need to access by bicycle or on foot along the canal path.
