St Nicholas Park
A calm stretch of the river Avon in the centre of Warwick. It’s not usually too busy, but there can sometimes be rowing boats, kayaks and the odd fisherman. Access is relatively straightforward, however, there are no stairs or ladders into the water. The water here is probably quite deep and gets deeper as you move out towards the middle of river. There are no rapids or features of any kind, it’s just a flat water paddle really. The park areas either side are the perfect location for picnicking and there are car parks very close by in Myton fields and St Nicholas directly to the north and south of the river.
