Lower Lode

A scenic walk along the River Severn will take you to the easily accessible point to swim by the Lower Lode Hotel. Sometimes a little murky but cleaned by the tides, the water is different depths with deep and shallower areas perfect for swimming. Watch out for boats and kayaks and take care with the current! There is parking available at the hotel, and also on the opposite bank of the river at the Lower Lode Lane Picnic Area.
