Fleet Inn

There are two fantastic entry options for swimming at this point in the river Avon. The first is easily accessible from the end of Fleet Road next to the Fleet Inn Pub, or to the right via the public footpath. The second is on the other side of the river directly opposite the Fleet Inn which is accessible from Fleet Lane. This also has a small parking area and a boat launching ramp for easy access into the river. This accessibility makes it great for disabled swimmers or those who can't walk far from their car. Our personal recommendation in summertime would be to park on the east bank and take a short swim across the river for a refreshment or food in the Fleet Inn pub! Do always be mindful of boats on this stretch as it can get busy at times.
