Syon Park to Strawberry Hill

Walking
Free!

Syon Park is the 56.6 hectares (139 acres) garden of Syon House, the London home of the Duke of Northumberland in Isleworth in the London Borough of Hounslow. Starting at Syon House, it's possible to enjoy a (mostly) riverside walk all the way to Strawberry Hill House. This walk would be about 4.5 miles and would take approximately 2.5 hours. On the way, the walk passes through the old village centres of Isleworth and Twickenham, as well as interesting mansions and historical sites such as Syon House, Marble Hill House, Orleans House and Gallery, York House and Strawberry Hill House. The latter is the gothic residence of Horace Walpole.
