Switch off, relax and watch the world go by as you cruise the beautiful waterways of the Norfolk Broads National Park. The unique experience of sailing on a restored Norfolk Wherry, allows you to slow down and reconnect with nature whilst in the capable hands of our friendly skippers and crew.<br /><br />Once a vital part of local heritage stretching back to the 17th Century, there are now only eight Wherries left in existence on the Norfolk Broads. Wherry Yacht Charter Charitable Trust is responsible for maintaining and restoring five of these. Your booking helps us to ensure that these priceless museum pieces are not lost forever.<br /><br />You can either join a scheduled day trip or hire your own private wherry (with skipper and crew included) for a day or longer. Cancellation policy

Custom cancellation policy:

All our charters and scheduled sailings are expected to go ahead regardless of the weather forecast. However, in the event of a severe weather warning, WYC reserves the right to cancel a charter or scheduled sailing (possibly at short notice) and will, in such cases, refund in full the amount paid, or, if the customer so wishes, use all reasonable endeavours to transfer the booking to another available and mutually convenient date. Otherwise, all bookings are non-refundable, but, if a customer is unable to sail with us due to illness, or other events beyond the control of the customer, please provide as much notice as possible and WYC will use all reasonable endeavours to transfer the booking to another available and mutually convenient date, or, if only a deposit has been paid, promptly refund the deposit, in full.
