Excellent water quality

Porthmeor is the main tourist beach in St Ives on the north coast of Cornwall. It is a sandy beach resort, approximately 640 metres wide, close to the town.

The most recent Environment Agency water quality classification is 'Excellent' , based on samples taken from 2022-05-07 through to 2025-09-16.
