Excellent water quality

Poole Sandbanks Peninsular forms part of the 15 kilometre coastline of Poole Bay on the Dorset coast. It is a sandy beach resort, approximately 940 metres wide, on the Sandbanks Spit.

The most recent Environment Agency water quality classification is 'Excellent' , based on samples taken from 2021-05-10 through to 2024-09-23.
