Excellent water quality

Redcar Stray is the southernmost of four designated bathing beaches fronting the resort of Redcar. It is a gently-sloping sandy beach to the southeast of the town.

The most recent Environment Agency water quality classification is 'Excellent' , based on samples taken from 2021-05-06 through to 2024-09-19.
